UCLA HEALTH SYSTEM- INFORMATION SERVICES AND SOLUTIONS GROUP(ISS)
Los Angeles, CA
As a project manager for UCLA ISS, I utilize project management techniques, tools, and best practices to manage and lead healthcare technology and infrastructure projects. For each project I bring together experts from multiple IT teams (e.g. systems administrators, networking engineers, server engineers, Epic analysts, etc) to design and implement innovative solutions to issues identified by IT and clinical directors. These projects have a high ROI for the organization, improve efficiency, and most importantly improve patient safety. I've worked on projects ranging from implementing interactive voice response systems for our professional billing office to bi-weekly coronavirus tests for all clinical staff to installing a total automated laboratory testing solution.

In 2016 I left UCLA for six months to work as the Director of Operations of a small luxury moving company. During my short time at this company, I hired, trained, and managed a team of client facing specialists and created a training program for future hires. I streamlined the operations of the company by identifying and maximizing the use of project management software, billing and invoicing software, and created robust spreadsheets to more accurately track income and expenses.
Director of Operations

While working at Pop-Up Pantry I hired and managed a team that shipped thousands of frozen three course dinners monthly to clients across the country. I sourced the unique packaging materials and designed the cold and supply chain logistics to ensure every dinner was shipped on time and arrived undamaged. This includes not only the space age liners to keep the food frozen, but also special labels for the food that can survive both sub-zero and boiling temperatures. I negotiated contracts with a half dozen vendors.
